Jane Revell is the founder and director of Kite. Jane has worked as an educator, manager and trainer since the early 70s. Her experience in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) has taken her all over the world and she is widely known and greatly respected for her continued contributions.
Jane's deep interest in learning and in personal development has led her to explore many areas. Her first degree from LSE is in Linguistics and French, her Masters is in Media Studies. She also has qualifications in psychotherapy, stress management, educational kinesiology, personal fitness and is now a fully qualified Pilates instructor. Jane is a Master Practitioner and Certified Trainer of NLP.
After leaving university Jane worked as a VSO volunteer in Rwanda for a year before taking up a series of appointments with the British Council in Spain, Venezuela, The Canary Islands and in Germany. She speaks fluent French and Spanish and has travelled extensively -- mostly to train EFL teachers and trainers.
Jane has been a prolific writer for many years in the TEFL field and three of her books have been given 'Best of the Year' awards by the English Speaking Union. More recently she co-authored the highly acclaimed NLP books 'In Your Hands' and 'Handing Over' and in 2000 published 'Success Over Stress'.
Jane's lively and very personal approach to her clients allows them to access her wide range of knowledge and apply it to their needs in workshops and coaching sessions that are above all fun to be in.
As well as public and in-house workshops Jane offers personal coaching to selected individuals. This can be a single day to develop a special presentation or a continuing relationship supporting their professional development.
